Mrs. Rojas 3rd Grade Superheroes 2019-20: Week of January 27th

Happy Friday! We are at the end of another wonderful week here at Lake Carolina!! Can you believe we are almost through the month of January?! Parent communication folders and report cards came home Friday. Remember to keep the report card and return the jacket signed. Please let me know if you would like to set up a conference. My planning time is from 12:50-1:30 if you would like to meet.

Also, by now, you should have received the communication about the fire alarm from Mr. Williams. We had a fun activity planned for our rock units but it was interrupted due to the alarm. Thanks to Mrs. Santana for donating the ice cream for this activity. For the other 2 rocks, I am looking for 2 bags of mini Airheads, Gummy Bears, plastic bowls, and 2 bags of Starbursts. If you are able to donate to the cause for Monday, please email me and let me know what you are donating. This keeps us from having too many of one item and not enough of another.

Kindness T-Shirts

The Specialists at Upper Campus are challenging you to be AU-SOME and show KINDNESS for Autism Awareness. Shirts can be purchased through Parent Portal through January 28th. Autism Awareness month is in April. The sleeve will have our school name on it and shirts will be recognized as uniform wear. Remember that KINDNESS is AU-SOME!
